Trick or Treat!

We went down to Torrance for a trick or treating party at Robyn and Chad's house. It was a lot of fun. Robyn made some yummy chili and cornbread and then we headed out for some candy! Kira thought it was really fun except for a few scary houses and costumes. I couldn't believe all the people trick or treating on their street and all the great decorations - it was crazy!

I love fall, especially Halloween. I love planning a costume and dressing up in something wacky or scary. Now I get to plan Kira's costume too and that's even more fun... I think she's going to love it as much as me!

We've had some fun parties so far and have one more to go. We hosted a mini-party a couple weeks ago with our friends Robyn, Chad, Janitsy and Nathaniel and all their little goblins. Earlier this week, we joined Janitsy's mommy and me group for their Halloween party. Kira did NOT want to put on her cat ears but she got over it when she realized there were "junes" - her name for candy - to be had. It was lots of fun doing the crafts and hanging out with our friends in Torrance. Thanks Janitsy for planning a fun morning!

Kira had a great time at our ward trunk or treat. She held onto my hand as tight as she could and practically pulled me from car to car. I think by the end she got the whole trick or treating concept.

Happy Halloween! (a week late)

I can't believe it's already been a week since Halloween. Kira turned 10 months this week and she just seems older! It's craziness!

Kira and I went to a pumpkin patch with some friends from our ward a little earlier in the month... luckily it was only 105 degrees that day. We barely made it! Everybody knows I hate the heat. I'll never get used to it.

On Halloween the Trunk or Treat was great but I silly me forgot the camera. Oops! We took some pictures of Kira (a.k.a. Minnie) after we got home. Here are a few of Minnie Kira and the pumpkin patch.
