Standing!

Kira is just starting to stand alone without the support of furniture. It is the cutest thing because she is so tiny. Here's our petite little stander.

The zoo

We went to the LA Zoo with my brother and his family earlier this week. It was a lot of fun! I was amazed at how many animals the kids recognized. Some our favorites: the giraffes, the hippo, the flamingos, the chimps and orangutans. And of course we wore out the little ones in the end.

Happy Halloween! (a week late)

I can't believe it's already been a week since Halloween. Kira turned 10 months this week and she just seems older! It's craziness!

Kira and I went to a pumpkin patch with some friends from our ward a little earlier in the month... luckily it was only 105 degrees that day. We barely made it! Everybody knows I hate the heat. I'll never get used to it.

On Halloween the Trunk or Treat was great but I silly me forgot the camera. Oops! We took some pictures of Kira (a.k.a. Minnie) after we got home. Here are a few of Minnie Kira and the pumpkin patch.
