Pretty new dress

Kira got this super cute dress from my mom for her birthday. I took these after church and she looks adorable. Thanks Grandma!

Finally...

We bought this crib for Kira on craigslist quite a while ago. After sanding it and painting it and dealing with some unexpected issues, we finally put it up! Kira is very happy with her new comfy bed. I was pleasantly surprised with her first night in the new bed. She slept like a baby. :-) Here's a pic of the new set up. I love it. But now where to store the port-a-crib...

First Birthday Party!

Kira's first birthday party was on Saturday. It was so much fun and we had a lot of people there to help us celebrate the big ONE! I can't believe it's been a whole year already. One year!

Kira turns one today! I can't believe that last year I was in a hosptial bed waiting for her arrival. She is so much fun. Very mobile and a chatterbox. She doesn't say many "real" words yet but she sure knows how to make noise! She will shake her head when you tell her "no" and will dance to just about any music. She is walking even better now but will still crawl if she wants to get there fast.

We had a lot of fun over Christmas and New Years with my family. Kira got to see all her cousins and spend Christmas morning trying to keep up with the other kids. It was great to spend time with everybody. Kira misses you all already!
