Pony Rides and Cowboys

We went to Jalen's birthday party on Saturday. Kira and I had a lot of fun catching up with friends. Unfortunately, John had to work but we made the best of it... We tried her hair in pigtails and I think she looks so grown up! Kira rode a pony for the first time and I don't think she'll be asking for one of her own anytime soon. The pony was a little skiddish and it scared her but she stayed on the whole time! She ate lots of Cheetos and cake. The sugar high wore off the second we got on the road. She slept the whole way home. One things for sure, those cowboys sure are little heartbreakers... We caught Jalen and Kira holding hands on the way to the pinata. Too cute!
